Kristen Fish-Peterson

Principal & CEO

In 2009, Ms. Peterson and two colleagues started Redevelopment Resources. She is a Certified Economic Developer and holds a master’s degree in business administration. With over 30 years of field experience, she has managed all aspects of market analysis projects, strategic planning processes, business development and adaptive reuse programs. She has implemented business recruitment, retention, entrepreneurial programming, loan fund management, deal structuring, blight elimination and policy/ program development. Her hobbies include long-distance running, walking her dog, Jack, and spending time with friends and family.

Dayna Sarver

Chief Data Geek

Dayna brings nearly ten years of professional experience in economic development and real estate redevelopment to the Redevelopment Resources team. Prior to joining Redevelopment Resources, she was the Economic Development Manager for the City of Verona and the Economic Development Coordinator for the City of Janesville. Dayna desires to help others reach their full capacity and enjoys engaging with local and state stakeholders with a multi-disciplinary approach to the development of the community’s natural, social and fixed assets.

Thomas Fish

Project Manager

Thomas brings over six years of professional experience, including economics, credit analysis and business strategy/planning, to the Redevelopment Resources team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Ripon College.

Prior to joining Redevelopment Resources, he worked in Credit Analysis and Underwriting for banking institutions in Central Wisconsin. Thomas is passionate about helping businesses and communities utilize the tools at their disposal to foster growth and development and approaches every project with enthusiasm and purpose.

Samantha Caches

Intern, Urban Planning

With a unique blend of creativity and curiosity, Sam is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the community and the public realm. She has consistently demonstrated a strong passion for learning about the impact that various policies and elements of the built and natural environment have on different population economically, socially, and psychologically.  She has been involved in various impactful activities, including Habitat for Humanity and UniverCity. These experiences have allowed her to develop a well-rounded perspective on the importance of community engagement in urban planning.

Emerson Sonoda

Intern, Spatial Data Science

Emerson Sonoda has gained extensive experience managing large datasets, developing analytical tools, and working with statistical data. His expertise includes using Python for database management, as well as leveraging powerful libraries like pandas for data processing, analysis, and automation. Driven to provide impactful contributions in the classroom, our organization, and the world around him, Emerson is geeky passionate about learning about the economic impact of the built environment on the natural environment, and those impacts on the way people live their lives, particularly within the transportation sector.

Emerson Sonoda, is a student at the University of Southern California, pursuing a Master of Science in Spatial Data Science.
